Freshen-up the feed

Want to freshen up your Instagram feed?

We’ve done the legwork for you and rounded up 7 of our favourite accounts that we think everyone should be following!

1. @RoxieNafosi
Roxie believes her soul purpose is to help empower, inspire and motivate others to unlock their fullest potential and live their best lives. The self development coach and speaker preaches the power of manifesting as well as sharing handy tips on self confidence that will get you in the right frame of mind to conquer the world!

2. @GoodNewsMovement
We live in a world of endless rolling (frankly depressing!) news headlines so let’s face it- we all need a bit of good news! Enter the Good News Movement. The account was initially set up when its founder, Michelle Figueroa, was stuck at home with the flu, prompting her to share uplifting stories from around the world. Whether it is a footballer donating his salary to his hometown in Senegal, or simply a funny video of an Italian pretending to DJ in her kitchen using her hob, it’s a nice place to go to feel the good in the world!

3. @AliceLiveing

Personal trainer, blogger, best selling author – the talents of Alice Liveing are endless. Instagram is full of influencers promising ‘results’ by following their advice (check out our recent piece that deep dives into the world of fitness influencing) and we all know that at the core (excuse the pun), a healthy lifestyle requires discipline and consistency, which doesn’t always fit with our instant-gratification society. Alice is realistic about this and has a passion for educating the masses on all things health and fitness. From posting about correct form, stretching, routines for when you have your period and the benefits of mobility, to sharing healthy habits for busy people, we can’t get enough of this three-time best selling author’s content.

4. @LoisOHara

Need a bit of colour in your life? Artist and friend of Glorious, Lois O’Hara’s colourful work is sure to inspire and brighten up your day! Brighton-based Lois creates movement in design and believes that colour can have positive effects on people and places. Her vibrant, diverse and creative practice takes in Large Scale Mural Painting, Design & Art Direction, Interior Design, Public Art and Project Management. Find out more about Lois and her work in this Glorious story.

5. @YsaoraThibus
French fencer and all round cool-girl Ysoara Thibus is making waves not only in the fencing community, but also in the fashion one. When Ysaora isn’t sitting front row of Paris Fashion Week, she can be found sharing inspiring stories on her IG page. We loved watching Ysaora’s Diary Of An Olympian created by Agathe Breton (click here to read Agathe’s Glorious story) and we’re still obsessing over Jade Ang Jackman’s beautiful film The Countdown that features Ysaora (click here to read and watch.)

6. @DailyDose
Tim Karsliyev, founder of Daily Dose, has a 200+ million network on Instagram that can reach one out of four people using the social platform. Today, Daily Dose is one of the biggest (and first) motivational accounts on Instagram, spreading influential messages that reach millions daily. He created Daily Dose because he believes we have a duty to act – not talk, not think, not imagine, but to step up and make a real difference.

7. US! @GloriousSport
We might be slightly biased here, but we think our feed is pretty great! We scour the globe to share inspirational women doing something great in the world of sport, art and culture. Be sure to give us a follow and stay in the loop with our stories – we post daily so there’s always something new to see and we love a healthy discussion in the comments!
