Standing tall at 5ft 9in (175cm) with a preferred right foot, she has made a significant impact on women’s football as a key player for Chelsea FC Women and a proud representative of the England national team.
Hannah’s football journey began at her grassroots club, Birmingham City, where she showcased her goalkeeping prowess and caught the attention of talent scouts. Her passion for football led her family to move to Spain when she was only five years old, where she discovered her love for the sport and was scouted by the renowned Villarreal CF academy as a striker.
Upon returning to England in 2010, Hannah made a pivotal decision to transition from a forward to a goalkeeper. Her move to Stoke City Centre of Excellence marked the beginning of her journey as a talented shot-stopper. Her dedication to the game and impressive performances earned her call-ups to represent England at various youth levels, including U15, U17, U19, and U21.
In March 2020, Hannah received her first call-up to the England senior squad, joining the Lionesses for the prestigious SheBelievesCup in the USA. While she did not debut during that trip, her potential and skills were evident, leading to further call-ups and recognition from the national team.
In February 2022, Hannah’s dream of representing her country at the senior level came true as she made her debut for England during the Arnold Clark Cup campaign. Born with strabismus, an eye condition affecting depth perception, she underwent multiple surgeries at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
