Esme Morgan, born on October 18, 2000, in Sheffield, England, stands tall at 5ft 10in (177cm) with a preferred right foot. A rising star in both Manchester City WFC and the England national team, Esme’s journey to the senior Lionesses squad began with her call-up for a training camp in September 2020.
Her football prowess is evident as a versatile player, capable of excelling in various positions, whether it’s in the centre, right-back, or as a defensive midfielder. But beyond her on-field abilities, Esme is known for her kind-hearted nature, always wearing a smile that brightens the team’s spirit.
Early football memories hold a special place in Esme’s heart, with one of her earliest memories being her first-ever Man City game at the tender age of three. Witnessing a thrilling 6-2 victory against Bolton Wanderers, she fondly recalls the excitement of being in the stadium, even though the players appeared to have “flat feet” from her high vantage point.

Besides football, she has dedicated herself to being a patron for The Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity, reflecting her caring nature and gratitude for the support she received during her sports-related injuries.
As a BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science (Distance Learning) student, Esme appreciates the social aspect of the industry.
